Background to the summit: The summit is a critical opportunity for civil society, industry, government and parliamentarians to share concerns and information and build understanding around the impact of utilizing nuclear energy in South Africa. The summit is designed for participative discussion, however, a few speakers, both local and international, are being invited to make introductory comments.
